    2003 Mercury Marauder

Linked over from mm.net and stopped by to say hello.

I picked up my '03 300A Marauder (no TC or heated seats) used w/ 17k miles on it, now at 30k miles after 9 months. She's a daily driver except for the worst part of winter. Other than a leaky lower radiator hose clamp I haven't had any problems with the her.

I previously owned a used '00 Grand Marquis GS HPP that I ran up 40k miles on that was in excellent shape when I traded her in on the MM - just couldn't resist. The only problem I had with the HPP was lower ball joints that were replaced under the Mercury certified warrenty. I drove a '96 Dodge Ram prior to that for 5 years so I got spoiled by the luxury of the panther platform real quick.

BTW, very nice site for being brand new.

      Finally some pics

Below are a few pics from mm.net's "Marauderville II" meet in Indianapolis this summer.

There were over 60 Marauders that participated with the International Mercury Owners Association's (www.mercuryclub.com) "Mercurys at the Brickyard" meet and car show. The mm.net group held drag-racing court with a few Impalas at the Indianapolis Raceway Park on our own. We had a great time!
