fixed a bunch of stuff on my day off

I finally fixed a bunch of piddley stuff I have been meaning to get to.
First and formost, I installed the new speedo cable that has been laying around for
almost a year. while I had the cluster apart, I cleaned the instrument panel
lens and replaced a few dash light bulbs that were out.
Also, I fixed the bracket that holds the tach to the dash. One of the screws was at a funky
    angle and wouldn't screw in.
Lastly, on the trip down to florida, I noticed my speedo was 5-7 MPH fast . While I had the
Speedo cable out, I installed the correct 19T speedo gear. This seems to have corrected the problem, but I still
want to have speedo calibrated by a speedo shop.

I forgot to mention. Also took of the hood insulation blanket that was hanging down and getting in the way, engine compartment looks much cleaner now.
And I tightened up the front wheel bearings, which solved my shimmy at Hwy cruising speed.

So the wheel bearings did fix your problem? Glad to hear it, that highway shimmy can be a real pain in the ass when your driving a luxury car.

I just like this emoticon. LOL :stfu:
