after you take the ones with screws off, the rest just kinda pull apart.
I pulled those and the vinyl top wrap around piece off a 88-91 style vic before I didnt know that it wouldnt work on mine, lol

I dont think you can get new dash pads anywhere, and it's almost impossible to find one in good shape at yards. I finally found one in mint condition last week, and in dark blue too. Now i might actually start swapping the interior to blue now that i got the hard part out of the way. It just takes a lot of searching.

Yeah, if you pull the trim off an 88-91, it won't fit, as the back of the cars are curved more on the rounded boxes. The only body panels that did not change between 79-91 were the doors and the front fenders.

            hi
Thanks for the help, i have another question, my drivers seat back leans back more on one side then the other, if i give it a twist back it will stay until i sit and put pressure on it and it clicks back, has anyone else had this happen?
Also another question, my car has clear plastic in the inserts on the hood ornamate, its the only one ive seen with this, is it a special ornamate or something? its not the original one being as i had to replace the header panel when i baught the car and my original ornamate was broken off .The hood ornamate is off a 79 Grand Marquies out of the scrape pile at work. I grabbed it before it went into the crusher.

I think the seat is busted. My friend has broken 2 Tempo, 1 Escort and 1 Cutlass seat. All went the same way as yours is.
