    Overdrive slippage?

    Dear Gurus,
Some of the grades on I64 in West Virginia are 7% and I noticed a hesitation - like hitting an expansion joint or a fouled plug - pulling them with maybe 750 pounds in my Colony Park. The hesitation vanished in Drive and no matter how I lugged it I couldn't get it. Can the overdrive band slip? Donald McCaig

it is possable because that is the same thing my dads colony park did, so he always drove it in drive. i am told that the bands for O/D were faulty...and if it is slipping, dont drive in O/D much longer, you might blow ur tranny.(this is what happend to my dads wagon)
