Thanks for all the compliments guys!

The wheels were Eagle Alloys, but they looked alot like the Torque Thrust.

As for what happend to it, I still have the car, but the wheels have been long gone. Stupid property taxes!!! I came up short on the house taxes and had to sell the wheels.

My new plans are to eleminate all the shiny pieces, scuff the crappy clear coat off, and flat black it. Maybe some 14" wheels(if they fit) and get the biggest white wall tire posible. I would like for the tire to be tucked under the fender slightly. That would put the tire O.D. around 28"-30".

I feel like this is what I want to do to the old beast.

I also want to try my skills with a turbo on it. Nothing great, but to say that I did!

Thanks

That is true! I am a CV nut!

I cut a complete coil off the front springs and used '85 Oldsmabubble springs in the rear.

I would get thumbs up from 50- 60 year old guys and finger points from kids when cruising around. There was always a smile when people saw the car.

With the wheels on it, it seemed to bring out the sharp lines and the masculent(?) of the car. Now with the doughnuts on, it looks like an old POS.

Those rims look great on that car. If you can afford em, buy some more.

What model Olds were the rear springs for?

Like an '85.

Not sure if they were a v6 or v8. Not sure if it matters.
