They should work. legnth might be an issue. Every set of 4.6 wires ive gotten have been longer than stock.

Ive got the 10.4s on my 85. You will have to either modify a normal set of wire seperators or use zip ties. the stockers will never work.

Heres some pics of my 92 with Mustang wires. They fit ok. 10.4's won't fit in the factory looms though.

So were the 4.6 2v too short? Would the 4.6 4v wires be long enough to route the factory way.

Towny, I think he is referring to the thickness of the 10.4 mm wires compared to stock...8 or 9? mm wires, the looms are not wide enough to hold the wires. They seem to be the appropriate length, though. I would think that 4V wires would be a tad too long since the plugs are located further out towards the sides of the car instead of up on the intake like the 2Vs.

I knew about the thickness not fitting, I was just going by the pics he had where some fit and others looked too short. All in due time I guess, I want to buy some new accel coil packs for mine. Only 54 each.

Some were too short. Why not get some made for a Crown Vic? I had the Accel coils too, they did nothing, I wouldn't get coils unless yours are bad.
