After further inspection of the blown motor, I found a huge crack in the front of the block to the left of the timing cover. The pics will explain it all.
Also, the cam shaft was sticking out about an inch or so from the front of the motor
PS - The crank was a forged 4340 Eagle crank. Well find out for sure if the crank was the cause of the problem, or if something else caused the crank to break when we take it apart.
