    Odometer

My odometer quit rollin'...is there anyway that can be repaired?

    #2
This is very common on 90-95 cars. there is a small PM motor inside that drives 2 plastic gears on the odometer. either one or both of the gears broke/stripped, or the motor died.

there was a company that was making brass replacement gears, but I dont have a working link for them anymore.
A local speedometer shop should be able to repair it.
I have repaired a couple of these with used parts, however the problem is most of the speedos in the salvage yard are in the same shape.
