change the stock intake for a 4bbl intake with a 2bbl adapter to bolt the cfi unit down to. The stock intake is pretty much crap on these cars.

How about swapping over to a full intake setup off a 86-93 Mustang?

How difficult would that be, any ideas?

You'd need to replace the engine harness with stuff from an 86-91 panther, but its possible to do it, sure. Its been done before.

wonder how a cfi unit run with a decent 4bbl intake with a 4-2 adaptor and a set of ported e7's would run?

Or maybe a dual CFI setup on a 2X4 intake with adaptors. A little wiring and it wouldn't be too bad.

              Worthwhile... ehhh no.

That's the path I'll more than likely take when I decide to convert mine over.

Gah, I'm sure the intakes on them are cheap in junkyards anyways...
