      update!
motor and trans removed from the donor car, looked under the hood in the empty engine bay of the cougar........eek! why did i let the cougars sit outside for so long! on the std, theres no rust that isnt repairable, and the torque boxes and floors are ok, but the rad suppt area, and the rear quarters need help. i need to get some new lights for the shop and clean up my stockpiles of harvested goodies and get my ass of to work lol.......pics and updates soon!

Sanding parties are fun! One time we had like 6 people sanding my buddy's Camaro. Everyone that stopped by the garage we said "pick up some sand paper, start sanding" Sanding is a bitch...

BTW, how's the Cougar comin? I never saw this post before.

For trivia if it can help........ Your axle is ~56" from bearing flange to bearing flange bare. 71-73 Mustang is an exact fit and 69/70 Torino/Montego is the same width but the perches are a little further apart. 68-69 Montego/Torino is ~1" more narrow.
