I feel dumb for asking this question but where is the tv rod?

Looking to adjust it to day hopefully fixing all my trans problems. Is it in the transpan or out side of it? Is their a transmission filter (saw one on my sable) if so where?

If its on your CFI wagon, it will be on on the throttle bracket right by the throttle cable...It will be a metal rod going down to the tranny...Adjustment is done under the car were it connects to the tranny

Theres a bolt on the rod down by the trans. You can loosen it and move it down about a 1/8 to a 1/4 in and see if it helps...If you adjust it too far, say good bye to your Trans. Be careful mang.

Here is a pic from my car, it's carb'd but CFI uses the same rod. It's the metal rod closest to the carb.

And yes, my bushing is installed backwards. Ford made it that way. I think. But it's wrong and should be in the opposite way.
