    ignition switch grease

    hey mangs I was just woundering is there special lube that will lube the ignition switch I was just wondering if there was stuff out there for that or whats the best way to clean the ignition switch

    You mean lube the existing one, or are you installing a new one? White lithium grease should do fine for the rod in the column, probably a small amount of the same on the switch but if you have it out, and it is original I would replace it. Its a known potential fire issue and new switches are not that expensive. Motorcraft is maybe $25.
