    Lightbar plug for the 84....

I think I have figured out a slick way to hook up the lightbar on the car(s)... I am going to get a panel mount Amphenol plug, and mount it to the "B" pillar... I am going to remove the chrome trim piece, mount the plug, then using a hole saw, drill a hole in the chrome trim so that it will go over the plug... so that just the threaded part of the plug is showing.. then, when the lightbar is disconnected.. I will put a cap on the plug... (they have a screw on chrome cap for the plug) It should look pretty good... They also have a right angle plug to go on the end of the lightbar cord.. so that it will keep the cord right against the car, instead of sticking out... They have plugs and sockets with terminals up to 8 gauge...

Here is a picture of the panel mount plug.. (far right side of the page)

They make all of the plugs in nickle chrome plate.. checking on if they have it in stainless steel or not... for corrosion protection....
