    J-mod and undercarriage pics.

    Not sure if I should have posted this in the tech section or here. Oh well.

    I finally had the j-mod performed on the transmission, along with the forced tailshaft lubrication modification.

    While the car was on the lift, I also took pictures of various items not readily seen.

    quick ? did u notice a differnce with the j mod?

      Yes, I did. I had the ECM reprogrammed several months before w/a SCT chip so the shifts were already quicker.

      However, I could tell an immediate difference w/the 2-3 shift after the J-mod was done.

      I left the 1-2 spring in place as I did not want my neck snapping between every traffic light.

      I highly recommend having the j-mod performed by a competent mechanic. It is worth it.

          I also have a j-modded trans in my tbird...

          Really fun, esp at WOT...

            I purchased a chip that plugs into my '98's ECM and changes certain aspects.
