dont know the size but you might try a Ford truck forum. That torque monster should get your car moving.

Eh, the 302 is gettin tired. Just thought I'd go for "WTF?!" by dropping in a straight 6, if I'm gonna swap motors.

Dood... do a 300. Those bastards are torquey and last forever. Seven fucking main bearings! Here's a site or two you might've already looked at:

my friend has one bored .060 over, with an offenhauser intake and exhaust, mated to a 4-speed w/ granny gear sitting on 40"s. i saw him pull a 4-door F-350 diesel that was sitting on its frame in the sand out while barely getting on the gas

                    300 Straight SIX.....

Our Fire Chief had a 1985 4WD Ford F-150 Short box.. on street tires.... used to pull our rescue boat out of the water, in two wheel drive, and the boat was a older model fiberglass 27 foot Auquasport, with twin 150's on the back.. that thing was HEAVY.... it would snatch it right out... the boat was twice the size of the truck!

I had a friend of mine in houston, Tx. that had a truck identical to mine, except his was a 302, two barrel, automatic... mine was a 300 straight six, automatic.. And I could walk off and leave him in a side by side race... it was really funny.. cause it used to PISS him off!!!
                    Torque is goooood......
