    Help me out pleez

I have a question. How does everyone in this forum know each others name? In like all the questions they are like "hey bob.......thats wrong jimmie" and so on. How do you all know each other? Is it from Scottfest?? I have a feeling thats why. If it is then I for sure have to go to Scottfest next year. I plan on it anyways. Thanx!

For some that is. I learned the names through the forum for the most part. Peoples names eventually pop up and you just start remembering it. The meet is great for learning everyone's names, but then forgetting them the next week lol. I need it in writing otherwise I forget.

I suppose we could just have a thread where everyone states their name, just for the record, as it were. It'd be completely voluntary, of course, but it'd be handy for n00b and experienced user alike.

Betcha can't guess what my name is!!!! lol

I don't care to post my actual name on the internet so much. I'm not paranoid or anything, I just usually don't. I kind of prefer to go by Blaze at meets and such.

I have learned alot of names by either looking at the afore-mentioned signatures, guessing that the sign-on name NathaninMN means that the guy is named Nathan (or has the lamest nickname ever) and sometimes from more interpersonal communication via private message. I didn't post mine on here for a long time, but now I am kind of like a non-noob so I pretty much put it out there. I am Wes... unfortunately, not really Chuck Norris. But I like being called either Wes, Chuck, or in some cases Mr. Norris. And I will kick people.

I pick things up here and there and remember some people's names but not others. I have a fairly unusual name (Thain), so people tend to remember it just because its uncommon.

Mine is easily guessed, there is a matt around every corner. Most of the names I've picked up are just from being on here too much.

I've been piecing it together pretty slowly, myself. I periodically see names mentioned I don't recognize; sometimes I find out who they are, and sometimes shortly afterwards I forget again if I don't talk to that person a lot. Me, my first name's Michael; annoying friends call me Mike; really annoying friends call me Mikey, and thankfully instances of being called Mick or Mickey are virtually nonexistant. :p
