before i forget, were oem headlamps like this?

when i pulled my high beam lamps, today, i noticed one of them was lighter than the other. after looking and tapping on it, the whole thing lens and surrounding was plastic. and the front says sylvania halogen. were the oem headlmaps all plastic? the other one was what i'm normally accustomed to. the all plastic one is the one that blew out too. if it was orignal, that would explain why it gave up the ghost.

Hmm, are they any better than the glass ones? Do they yellow like 92+ Vics?

i thinks i was referring to the construction of the sealed beam lamp. one of mine was completely plastic, and it was manufactured by sylvania. was very, very light too,lol

                hmm

there was a full set of plastic headlanps on my TC when I bought em, they were actualy very bright and clear. I keep them in my trunk as a spare since I can't find my bulbs for my headlights right now.

I had plastic ones on my 89 Vic. Dunno what they are on this one. But they all need to be replaced soon.
