    Over heating ... Possible AirLock?

Just got my car back today and its overheating now after a attempt at an engine swap... 92 Grandmarquis... and now its overheating, i think it could be an airlock, as when i top the fluid up with water it drains but when the engine is sitting at higher RPMs it starts to rise and begins bubbling over then goes down and does this every once in a while, while revving the engine up.

If this is an air lock which I am hoping is there a bleeder valve somewhere where i can bleed the air out of it?

no bleeder valve on these engines

let it idle with the resivior cap off and the heater on high heat high fan. as it gets hot the water/coolant will expand some and rise in the degass bottle. that's normal. one thing i would do is pull the upper radiator hose at the tstat then fill it up in the hose. just did the intake on my aero and it initially got over hot untill it filled up the heater core and got all the air out of it.
