    '93 GM Starting Problem

Hello everyone. I have been having this problem since I picked up my 1993 Grand Marquis about 5 months ago. I have to crank the engine twice to get it to start. I turn the key and it sounds normal, but it won't start. When I turn it a second time, it starts right up. I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is. If you need more info, just let me know.

Alot of cars do this because of old age..If anything go through and do a tune up and change the fuel filter

Fuel pressure could be bleeding off when the car sits. Next time you go to start the car cycle the key a couple of time first. (Off to run, off to run...without cranking the engine) Then start the car. If it starts right up after that, it's fuel pressure.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot the next time I go somewhere.
