    ill start
    im using a sony mp4 head unit
    autotek crossover
    8- 6.5" sony components
    2- 10" 1500watt sony
    2- 15" 1500watt sony
    1- 600watt mosfet sony amp
    2- 2000watt d-class sony amps
    pyle indash 7" flip out monitor and dvd player
    2-7" jvc monitors
    lots of dynomat

      I'm in the process of installing it right now, actually...

      Pioneer head unit with CD player and auxiliary input
      4" dash speakers
      6" (I think, don't remember for sure off hand) door speakers
      6x9 rear speakers
      600W amp for 6x9s and doors
      All speakers and amp are PowerAccoustik

      No subs yet, but I'm considering it. We'll see how this sounds when I get it put together. It'll be nice just having a radio, period, though- I pulled the stock one out a couple months ago when I started installing the new one, so I've been without one completely for quite awhile!

        401 cubic inches of AMC V8 sound...its loud and I have no "system" in the jeep...
        and 2.0L of ford four cylinder sound out of the capri...its so damn loud you could not here the "system" I had in it....you can hear my car one mile away....lol...perhaps more..so ...no stereo for me.

            when I did have a nice system I used silicon on ALL screws and I used zip ties under the dash to tidy up all the wires. works wonders

              electrical tape on all the snap fastners for plastic pieces gets rid of alot of squeeking and rattling.

                well for my 81 merc i have a pioneer DEH-4700MP head unit with 4'' rockfords in the front with 6X9'' rockfords in the rear. and for the mark VI i have a pioneer DEH-4700MP preimeir head unit with pioneer 4''s in the front and alpine 6X9''s in the rear. and both cars share the pioneer direct plug in box for sirius sat radio!!!
