anyone ever use pyle equipment

i was thinking of getting one of their subs that has an amp built in. is pyle any good, or should i look elsewhere. i'm just lookin for more bass, but not tons of boom,boom as i listen to pretty much just metal and not rap or techno.

i have had good luck with pyle speakers, but that amp in deal sounds like crapola

Pyle = Sparkomatic
not the same company, but really crappy stuff. Look for USAcoustics. Not very expensive, and the have good power.

yeah never buy any sub that has an amp built-in. check out a sony sub (lower end of the quality scale but definately miles above Pyle). They hit nice and are cheap. Pair it with a sony amp for the matching bump in the trunk for a cheap price..i think you can even pick up the sub and box and amp from wal-mart or pep-boys.
