    new to panthers

howdy all, my wife and i just recently bought a '88 LTD CV Lx. 5.0. This is our first fuely FO MO CO and have a few questions.
    1. is the timming chain like ealier ones (alluminum poly coat) or double roller?
    2. is this a crash enigine.
We would like to know becuase it has 127000+ miles on it and would want to do peventive mantains if needed.

I'm guessing a crash engine was one that's been in an accident...?

Welcome, and I believe the engine is of the non-interference type, if that was your question.
