Clutch Kit differences between '89 and '90?

I checked out Team Ford Parts for the price of a Clutch Kit for a trac-lock unit and I'm more confused than ever ...

Clutch kit, all models - integral carrier - INTEGRAL CARRIER 84-89 $41.28
Clutch kit, all models - integral carrier - INTEGRAL CARRIER 90-07 $162.62
Why the insane price difference? What is different between the pre-'89 and post-'90 differentials? The carriers are all the same for the 8.8 rear end, correct? I'm thinkin' about putting a trac-lock in my '91 GM when I rebuild the rear end. All info is appreciated.

Wierd. Looks like the difference between the organic and kevlar kits... That's way too high. Summit sells the kits MUCH cheaper.

the regular kits should be about $45, the kevlar should be about $100

Apparently the Motorsport kit prices have gone up. I got a Motorsport kit with carbon fiber clutches about a year ago for 48 bucks. They're now closer to 80.

As far as differences between the years, I don't see why it should matter. An 8.8 is an 8.8. Are there any part numbers associated with this listing? Maybe that would explain it. Probably some difference in the clutch material as was mentioned earlier.
