    box registry?

    lol i thought it might be cool to list everyones VIN and basic info for their box on one data base. am i onto somethin?

      I think it'd be cool. I could help if needed. The number of cars we'd need to document would be extreme to get any kind of production estimates, but it's gotta start somewhere. Could document junkyard cars as well. Maybe we could design a survey for each model and year.

        How could we get an estimate of the number of boxes recycled? Scrap yards tend to keep that a secret. I tried to save some parts from an old capri and they quickly gave me my money for my scrap and put me out the door and pretty much said never to ask about that ever again.

        Pehaps I got them in a bad day?..I dunno but they ripped me off I should have gotten way more for the car I scrapped.

            or just collect VINs and vehicle make, model year and list em in a data base with owner name. i wish i was good with comps then i would start somethin, but right now i guess its jus a lil pipe dream

              I used to be good with Microsoft Access, which is probably what you'd use on something like this, but I've forgotten how to use it effectively now.

                  Sounds like a neat idea.
