    Weird Idea

Has anyone ever built a Family Truckster replica? What would be involved and would it generally be frowned upon by the community??

My dad saw a correct year wagon sitting in one of the many used car lots around here and he started talking about it. The chances of it actually happening are extremley slim to none (I'm already after him about getting our '74 Beetle restored) but I thought I'd look in to it for novelty's sake.
