    wheel well boxes

    If anyone is interested I have a pattern that I used to make my subwoofer boxes for my 90 vic. I can post a few pics of the boxes and of the pattern. let me know if anyone could use this.

      if only Lincoln trunk sides were the same.... Also would be really nice if mine were symmetrical, that air compressor sort of messes the gig up.

        the woofers fire into the trunk in a push - pull configuration. take a look at the pic to get an idea of my setup. it wont be as loud as two subs firing in the same direction facing the back seat, but it clears up the whole trunk area. plus, with my two boston g5's and some decent power (1200 watts rms to each sub) i can pull 124+ db in the drivers seat. so they have the potential to thump. I will be posting the pics of the template in a week or so when i go back home. btw, the template is for 3/4 mdf pannels and only covers the two faces, but its not hard to make the other pannels.

                i did the same thing with my 97.
                the boxes are about 1.25 cubic feet, plus the displacement of the subs.

                    no i dont, pretty much just used cardboard to get the shape and went off that.
