Fender Trim

Well, as (many of) you know, I"M a sucker for chrome. And, my fenders have some nice chrome trim. But they could be nicer if the small dents were gone.

Has anyone ever pulled these things off and hammered them back to looking good? Or should I just go look for some that aren't dented? Or make new ones...

Or am I just the only person in the world with dented fender trim?

mine are dented too. for Shifty, i'm thinking of just pulling the trim. that fucking stuff is a rust magnet.

It's not chrome, I't stainless steel. Notice how lighte they are. Plus if they dented it would look like little stress cracks.

My fender trim was in the same condition. I screwed them off.
