    Curious about few things....

Alright I'm just curious, I know you can adapt the stock down pipes to mustang headers/manifolds. But how about a Mustang/Mark 7 H pipe to the stock manifolds? Just curious because I have an O/r H pipe, but don't feel like putting the headers on.

On a side note what all has to be removed to easily access the exhaust manifolds to replace them? I know the driver side is already pretty easy. How long would you estimate a job like this to take?

and a second side note... Would I have any problems just taking the hose that runs from the smog pump to the cats on the passenger side and ripping it all out and just plugging it? I already plugged the holes to the cats and welded them shut. not it's just shootin' air at them. is there a thread on removing the whole smog system? about how long does that take?

I only ask for estimates on time because this is my only means of transportation and I never have a ton of time to work on it.

    Thanks Dave,

the mark7 h pipe is the same as a mustang h pipe
you can use headers with the stock downpipes, but the passenger side is gonna hit the frame and it may leak a bit....you still need to weld a pr of o2 bungs in the downpipes.
you can bolt a set of 90 town car headers up to your stock cats......an improvement over cast iron logs

I don't know why I posted this in the Muscle forum, but anyway I knew that stuff. I'm curious about it the other way around. Stock panther manifolds with stang H pipe....
