Scott after the Ford GMQ is done the Cable Box is coming in after SF is over it`s going in for some major service stuff done for the front end work,a set of loud Duels 2 1/2 inch pipes brakes tires & I`ll bring down the 16 inch Steelies I`m putting on there & I`m looking for a set of 98 to 02 CV LX hub caps or CVPI center caps & Scott plz check on a set of Firestone Fusions for me sizes are 225-60-16 H for prices & fuels lines also since the GMQ is also are getting then too thx Scott........

i keep a bunch of cfi cars running......u should see fairplays 85 vic......it's still got shiny paint.......regis got a pic of me goofing up lol.......i almost mounted the secondary shoe on the primary shoe side lol

next order of buisiness on the cablebox is front rotors, calipers, wheel bearings, seals and hoses and pads, fuel lines and brake lines, then headers and dual exhaust (dont wanna blow myself up welding with leaky fuel lines lol) and a headlight switch.

they usually come out.....all but two.......the one attached to the dipstick tube, and the one with the smog pump line bracket on the other side......the nuts are always rusted to the brackets......be carefull the box panther didpstick tubes are made of unobtanuim....i bought the last one for toms car

Believe it or not, it runs really good. New vacuum lines and a fresh timing chain do wonders for CFI cars.

yay got rust in my eye.
the lines up at the prop valve look really good, so to save much frustration, i am leaving them alone, i thoroughly checked them, and what you can see from the pic the line looks new......weird how they get nasty in spots.

I've yet to have one of those manifold bolts break believe it or not. The hardest part is usually getting the dipstick and smog tube brackets off. Once you get those nuts off, the bolts generally come right out.

I had some trouble with the manifold bolts on the red box. But, I used the hot wrench on most of them to ease the process (per Scottmang's recommendation). No issues with the manifold bolts on the purple car, though. It always goes that way. When you don't really care about them breaking, they don't. But, when you do care, there is an ass ache.

Electrical repairs and upgrades complete - three relays have been installed in the rear so Regis can hook up to trailers with running lights on the sides without burning the headlights switch, and the harness damaged in the last experience of that kind has been repaired and the old switch replaced. Oh yeah, Regis, good thing you weren't here during the headlights switch and harness job ;) I'll hookup to the tow dolly tomorrow to test the trailer harness for proper operation, but the car lights work just fine and I can hear the relays clicking on and off when they should.
