    C-4

Is anyone running a c4, or know of any one running a c4 in a Box Panther?

Bout to throw a redneck built c4 in mine tomorrow. Deuce also runs a PA built one. IIRC Bigbluetank runs one too.

    2009 Ford F-350 6.4 powerstroke diesel. 1977 Ford F-150 built 300 six, 5 speed trans. 1976 MG MGB roadster, 359w, t5 5 speed. 1996 Kawasaki ninja ZX6R.
My rod is glowing, my bead is clean, my middle name is acetylene

to run the C4 you have to flip your crossmember around to get the holes to line up

I am seriously considering putting one in the race car. Do you have it as a colom shift like it is with the aod, or do you have it as a floor shift?

Ok, thanks! That is good to know.

I am trying to find a light weight converter now. Where is a good place to buy parts for them?

                  thanks again,

you might have to get a shifter bracket off an older C4 car. im using a B&M pro stick

I'm using a hurst quarter stick....Yes the transmission is the one off ebay, I've heard from quite a few people that they are great transmissions. I will let you all know how it runs by this weekend.

All this is VERY good info....I am 'bout ready to get rid of that junky assed AOD, and was wondering if this might work! C4 or maybe C6. helluva lot cheaper rebuilds anyway!

                              I'll be watching.
