    General Aero questions...

1- How tedious is it to replace a head gasket in a 94 GM...
2- how well does the AOD it the 94CV interchange into a 94 GM?

I ask b/c I found a 94 GM with an imaculate body and great interior for $650.

problems: blown head gasket and tranny doesnt to wanna shift when its time.

    Pics:

its narrowed down to that car and a 96 T-Bird 4.6 for 1500. Id love to have the GM but im not mechanically inclined.

my god what I would do for an immaculate aero for 650$ and a blown engine/tranny (essentially i'd give my left nut)

go find a wrecked mark viii and swap the whole drivetrain out!!

although not being mechanically inclined I would suggest getting the tbird.

That, and You're in floriduh, which is like, a long way away from me n stuff. I'm really wanting to start being the Scott of the 4.6 world, but I gotta find some cheap shit around here to start on!

is that cheap enough for you...

I really love the GM... more each time I look at it. I feel I could fix it myself if only I had someone mechanically inclined to instruct me on what to do.

Anything that involves removing the valve covers is a pain. Judging by the posts I have seen on CVN, your best bet would be to pull the engine to do the headwork on it. I chose to replace the complete engine assembly on my car, so I'm not sure how hard it actually is.

As for the AODE, it would be a direct swap. No differences or changes needed for your particular application.

I got my 94 TC for $950 and it runs/drives/ shifts great

Keep looking, that price is too high for bad motor/trans.

GREAT candidate for a newer motor/trans swap but ya gotta have the skillz
