    is there a way to get the ABS codes

    its a 94 GM ls and the abs light is on. How do ya check that other than to a shop?

    not sure about the fords, but my mazda flashes and the different flashes mean different things.

        There is an ABS diagnostic connector under the hood. (Opposite side of the engine compartment from the EEC connector, at least that's where it was on my '93) You'll need a scanner than can read ABS codes.

          Hi Spaceblonde

          Most ABS faults are caused by bad wheel sensors an easy first check if you do not have a scanner is to test the wheel sensors with an ohms meter, a good sensor should read 800 - 1400 ohms.
