    Street/Strip AOD from broader performance

    Includes upgraded 7 clutch direct drum, wide Carbon overdrive band, large A type overdrive servo assembly, hardened inner input shaft, 4 clutch intermediate clutch, cryo treated internals, reinforced sun gear assembly and custom valve body reprogramming. Full lock up is retained with lock up style converter. Can also be used with non lockup type torque converter for greater torque capacity. Wide open throttle shift points will be set to your preference on a dynamometer. Choose from 2 different shift patterns. Stock shift pattern PRN OD/D/1, or hold manual 1st and 2nd PRN OD/2/1. Overdrive lockout position will hold 2nd gear. We also have an electric delete overdrive valve body at an extra cost available.

    Street/Strip AOD Wide Ratio

    Same upgrades as above with the wide ratio gearing for increase acceleration. Valve body is also reprogrammed for wide ratio calibration.

    the pa trans are from mustang unlimited which about a 1 1/2 hour ride for me
    and the first trannys are from brader performance shipping would be $140
    the street smart package comes with converter,dipstick & tube, kickdown linkage while the others dont.are these transmissions any good and have you heard anything about these trannys or should i go for a tci aod trans
    im looking and trying to save.my 87 cv wag is my daily driver so i cant let it sit for to long.

    I hate PA.

    If you are anywhere near Pennsylvania, Scotts guy Brain can build a damn nice AOD for a bit less. I haven't blown his trans up and I've been running one for 2 years now.

      I also run a Brian-Built Trans in my vic. It rocks and rolls!

            yea if you are anywhere near pa, brian is the man to call

            1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

              4R70W/AODE Electronic Controller
              This is an electronic controller for use with all 4R70W and AODE transmissions. Controller will allow the use of these transmissions in older vehicles that do not have on board trans controllers. Great for hot rods or complete control in any vehicle.                 you would need a 4R70W out of a explorer thatt had the 302 and the 4R70W (i think 97-2000)

                but you could just build a wide ratio AOD with better internals

                  3.8 or 4.2 v6 4R70w will also bolt up. If there is an AODE that fits, it would also be out of a 3.8 v6 car.

                    From what I have heard, Brian builds a pretty good tranny...otherwise, LenTech is the only way to go.
