    I-95 corridor peeps... Southern Convoy!

    Im most likely leaving Tursday night after work at midnight, from Ocala. Heading up to I-95 in Jax and cruisin. I want to know who's near I-95 and when y'all plan on leaving. I know after about 6-7am im gonna need some convoy partners/sleep/multiple energy pills to keep goin If y'all convince me to keep truckin through and meet somewhere in NC for rest i could probably manage that, or maybe anyone in GA or SC could meet up with me and crash at a rest area for a lil bit on the way up. Post here and lets get the Southern Convoy in gear

            I'm just over the bridge in NJ, but can be in DE in minutes from here. Not sure where I'll be, but we can do the phone # exchange thing as well. I plan on taking 7/15 off work since it's my birthday and I think Scott said something about going to the track that night, which is cool by me.

                  a box convoy isnt much of a convoy with only one box! If I am the only one, Im going to save myself the tank of gas and head directly north.... Ill see u guys there :banana:

                    At Scott's recommendation, I'm thinkin of avoiding the big metro areas and takin I-81 on up to PA, via I-26 through Columbia and I-77 through Charlotte. It only adds about ~60 miles to the trip, but that could possibly be made-up by avoiding the high traffic cities. Blaze, Pete and me could all meet and cruise up together. I'm thinkin this would be a better route.

                    Let me know what yall think. I can go either way, but I'd like to avoid traffic if I can

                      Well, 81 is too far for me, that adds about 200 miles total to my overall distance. I'm gonna find the easiest rout through 95. DC shouldn't be a problem at the time we go around that Beltway. If we get out of Ridhmond VA in time, we can beat the rush at Baltimore too. After that we won't be in any large cities, till we hit the big town of Pottstown, PA.


                      However, are we going strait to the track, or are we meeting up at ScottFest first?
