ADTR ported plenum and sunset pics.

I finally had some free time to install the ported upper plenum. Click here for the pics.

I also took two pics of the Vic before putting it up for the night. These pics show the reflection that I was able to attain from this detail session.

    Enjoy.

Cool, I wish my plenum was that easy to port... I'm not sure how I would get all the way in the plenum without some special tool. Did you notice a gain in power?

Blaze, the Vic felt felt like it had more low-end power from stoplight to stoplight. Furthermore, the throttle felt a little more responsive.

Can you 5.0L guys just purchase a ported aftermarket intake?

I ran a new best lastnight at 9.95 at the 1/8 mile. It was over 80 degrees so hopefully cooler weather will net some better times.

        Thanks, Evil.

Yep we can, however. Our intake plenum is much larger than the 4.6L's 6" tube. So the cost is a lot more. Last I checked a ported HO could be obtained for around $600-$700 for upper and lower intake.
This particular one will go for less than it should. And if I didn't have to buy a tranny, I'd prolly get it myself! The reason is that thiis version only works on 94-95 mustangs. And because of the bend you can't turn it around to work like stock CV, TC, GMs. However, I just happen to be ussing the 94-95 engine. The piture is of the engine that I have in my Vic.

Perhaps you can pick up a used intake on one of the Mustang websites.
