after the tranny is in, i'm doing a complete tuneup and fluid change

plugs
wires
air filter
fuel filter
radiaotor flush
some hoses
change the fluid in the differential
change the oil

anything else i'm missing?

dont forget the dist cap and rotor, check the timing, check the belts, and replace the pcv valve, screen and gromnet

thanks Scott, i almost forgot bout the cap and rotor. i just did the pcv valve, screen and grommet last week,lol. then i seafoamed her! :snicker:

if for some rason i have to replace the timing chain, should i just replace the waterpump as well, since iirc that has to come off to give me access to the timing chain?

yes always replace the water pump. and use a new one (i've had bad luck with remans lately) use a double roller timing chain, when you go to put the timing cover back on, dont use the 2 small cork gaskets, they suck.........put a nice thick bead of ultra black or ultra grey there instead and install

dont forget to lube the ball joints, tie rod ends,etc...and most of all drive shaft u joints

and make sure to grease the muffler bearings and fill up the blinker fluid resoivor
