i'm looking to put some headers on my car, and rather than modifying the EGR tube to work with the mustang's header (driver's side EGR) i want to maybe weld on an EGR bung on my downpipe instead that comes up to my stock EGR tube. anyone know where a fella can buy these kind of exhaust parts???

just find out the size and type of fitting, buy one and get it welded on.

nope. done that. they're all useless!!! unless it bolts on, they're too retarded to install it. i'm paraphrasing, but that's what they basically told me. nor do they even have the components i need.

Try checking with a hydraulic shop that custom builds lines.

Cut a 3/4 inch hole with a hole saw where you want the bung, tac the bung intwo spots where you want it,then take a old o2 senser and screw in all the way, finish the weld, then turn the o2 out and let it cool. You're ready to go

he is saying EGR, not 02.

Again, find the type of fitting, AN, NPT, whatever, go to plumbing place, purchase part, get it welded on. A good muffler shop will do it, or find a welder to do it.

Now ,if you are mistakenly saying EGR instead of O2, any performance shop sells bungs, summit, jegs, your local speed shop....

nope, it's the EGR. i'm thinking i may have the problem solved.....i may just end up making a tube instead....

Just get a tune thru Lonnie @ blueovalchips.com and shut off the egr..Then all you need is a $5 NPT fitting to plug the hole

As long as you dont have to go through a sniffer just keep the EGR in place and you should be fine
