I went to visit a guy that collects Mark V's

Steve is a local Mark V collector. He's been into these cars for quite awhile. Here's the '78 (460) he got a few months back. The vynal roof was shot, so he removed it. This beast has a light blue interior, which is nice other than the worn-out leather seats.

Steve's current Mark V project car

Steve and his friend are building this Mark V. It had a 400 but they swapped it out for a 460. The paint is awesome!!

The interior is being restored also. New carpet to start with. The fenders are from Lincoln-land, which is located in Clearwater, Florida.

Wow! Are they planning to leave that thing as a slicktop? I hope so, because it looks kind of like Tom's "Project '79" except it's a Lincoln. :p

Is parts availability for those things any good, or do they mostly have to be junkyard-sourced like ours?

Yes, they are gonna leave it as a slicktop Engine-related parts are pretty easy to find. The junkyards here don't usually have cars from this era sitting around very long though.
