Ok, so just some thoughts/questions of mine. A 4r70w out of a 99-04 3.8 stang bolts up to the 5.0 right? A bauminator controller of course is needed. A rebuild to add the extra clutch the v6 model is missing. Do you use are stock flex plate? What convertor do you use with the 4r70w in a 5.0? Length vs. AOD? How much power can a stock one handle? Any info would be helpful. discussion and comments encouraged. I'm just dreaming right know but who knows? haha

I think the 4R70w is a little longer than an AOD, something like 3/4" if I remember right. They are all the same length though, no Lincoln vs non-Lincoln like the AODs are.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
