You would have LOVED it!

Some of us plan for 12 months to be there!

I've already started the hotel reservations (yeah, they sell out before November).

Financiall, I save from January to June.

Club wise, I've already started planning schedules and goody bags and forms and vehicles and video and photography and food and entertainment and the tent and ... and ... well, it'll take me twelve months to explain why it takes 12 months to plan :)

Ask around. It was the HOTTEST ticket on the East Coast for the weekend!

I'll be back soon to post up about the 2010 event.

Don't say that so loud!
It's a secret!

Some disgustingly nice cars there.Thanks. I ~know~ you didn't look at ~my~ engine bay. Funny thing is I never got to clean the driver's side and only the passenger's side was finished. It (accidentally) looked like a BEFORE and AFTER poster :)

Is that an aftermarket radiator hose I see there, John?

hehehehe Yup.

Even though I took two weeks off from work to enjoy my annual Carlisle Vacation, I didn't even finish cleaning the engine bay let alone any parts replacement or (gasp) actual detailing. Even the BODY of the car only received one coat of prewax cleaner, which was almost immediately removed by the need for a full body car wash on day two of the event :)

Once show season is over, you should see MOTORCRAFT just about everywhere on the Versace.

The fairground has a camping area that let's you LIVE right there with the action.

The hotel has a heated pool, an excerise room, a continental breakfast free wi-fi, and smoking and and non-smoking rooms.

You must be referring to the Mark VIIIs of The State Of New York event. I'm not definite yet but I should be there.

As for the Lincoln Mark VII Club Forum, Club Members received this notice from our ISP at about 6:30 PM EST;

"We experienced a power supply issue at one of our data centers, which caused the ipower.com site, as well as some of our customer sites, to be offline for a brief period of time. We are currently in the process of bringing the servers back up, and all services should be restored momentarily.

We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you. We realize that you depend on us to provide you with a reliable hosting solution, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

-----------------
Update: We're still in the process of bringing up servers. No data has been lost; if a file appears to be missing, it is only a temporary issue. Again, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this power supply issue may have caused you.
-----------------
6:00pm EDT: The vast majority of customer sites are currently viewable, and all customers sites should be viewable shortly. In an effort to ensure that no data is lost, you and your visitors will not be able to edit your site (including dynamic content) for an additional 8-12 hours. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause you.

The only time one of my cars is on a trailer is when they are on the way to the bone yard...

I was in charge of the Tent over at CVN for last year and this year. If all goes well, I will probably do it again Next year. If I wasnt there its probably because I was driving around. (too lazy to walk) The funny part was that my MPG gauge said i was getting 4.5MPG.

It was good seeing the GMN crew again. If I do it again next year. Swing by and say Hi. Although im mostly on CVN, I do get along well with the GMN and MM.net crew.
