I was thinking when we get that ventrillo server setup, someone can record it, and use that for the podcast. You know...

Well it looks like you folks lucked up. I've got a home studio (Sonic Foundry Acid running on an older IBM 770ed laptop) that I use for my band (www.myspace.com/lakotaphoenix) and I'd be willing to help out here with it. I have no idea how to do the podcasting but I'd be willing to learn.

If you wanted to send me the tapes or what ever format, such as a memory card that could be sent back to you, I could mix it up and post it. And if y'all wanted to do it video I could most likely do that too with my video editing software (it's not much but as soon as I get some better cash flow it's going to be revamped.)

Damned shame we couldn't have a videocast. Complete with GL wearing a 70's polyester suit!

I'd actually be more keen on doing shoutcast. I used to do that ages ago. Still have the mixer and I could probably get all the crap ticking along again. I used to do a lot of stuff from vinyl, which always seemed to freak people out when the song title would not update, and they'd get crackle and the occasional misplaced needle drop.
