I only know about the 90s

1990 was the first year for the start of the modern styling it still had the 302

1991 the towncar was the first to see the 4.6, the looks would go unchanged until 1995

then from 1995-1997 the towncar became more refined

It gained its new look in 1998 and in 2003 got a new grill and lost the lincoln emblems in the tail lights.

81-84 looked pretty much the same, pointed taillamps and taller pointier front blinkers, CFI 5.0
85-86 had flatter taillights, smaller front blinkers and the waffle grille
85 had CFI, 86 introduced SEFI.
87 had the waterfall grille back with the large hood ornament, rear reflector strip changed to move reverse lights to the outside edges instead of a single light in the center. The aluminum strip is also wider, making the reflector part smaller. Guage clusterfuck style updated.
88 had the small hood ornament
89 got amber front marker lights.
      86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
5.0 HO, CompCams XE258,Scorpion 1.72 roller rockers, 3.55 K code rear, tow package, BHPerformance ported E7 heads, Tmoss Explorer intake, 65mm throttle body, Hedman 1 5/8" headers, 2.5" dual exhaust, ASP underdrive pulley

thats an 83 continental also on the panther platform

          82 continental tudor

the box lincolns came out in 80 iirc

this pic is from a kid in canada. its an 1980 Town Coupe

basically this means the 80-83 continentals were panthers. then they shrunk em. but the TC's stayed panther. hope this helps brian.

The Mark VI is technically the Continental Mark VI i think. Fairly sure it says Continental on the trunklid.

And I want a Town Coupe or Mk VI tudor.

Random: The 86 TC Cartier I've been stealing parts from has a sticker that says Mark VI stuck under the dash.
