Some aftermarket stereos have that option, but not many. Basically you'd need one of those, or a complete late model stereo and all the wiring to install it in your car.

My Grand Am has it, it's called speed comprensated volume. From what I understand the radio is tied into the Body Control or Powertrain Control module and adjusts accordingly via the speed sensor. Grand Am, and most newer radios are double din or very vehicle specific which could pose another issue.

I remember one time we had a rental Grand Caravan when I was visiting my grandparents in Florida. It had this feature, and I distinctly remember winding the motor right up just to experience it (and see how loud it actually got)...

It was a gutless 3.3, I believe... revved way up but it wasn't going anywhere.

My mom's Blazer has this, as did the Lumina she had before it. It always ramped up the volume way more than neccesary no matter what setting you had it on.

Mine has min, med, and max and of course off. Usually I just keep it off, but it does what it's supposed to do when I turn it on.

I have it in the Ford and the Buick. It is disabled in both. I find it annoying, as it is less than subtle as you speed up or slow down no matter what setting it's on.
