    Dash Speakers that work.

I bought 5 1/4 speakers to go in the dash of my 87 vic, but they were to deep, and because of my air duct for the vents, they wouldn't fit. So I just re wired them to the doors. No that I blew out 1 of the door speakers (don't buy insignia) i would like to find speakers that go into the dash that actually fit. Also I need both front door panels (blue) that hous window cranks that are vinyl, not the suede stuff, because stupidly cut holes in the orignal panels without getting a replacement first. Any suggestions on the speakers?

Shallow 4's or 3 1/2" with an adapter made from some sort of material work fine. I have Boston Acoustic 3 1/2 in mine with adapters made from an old tupperware lid. Unfortunately I blew one from not having the crossover set properly, so it looks like those might be coming out soon.
