    wheel spacer question

anyone know what kind of spacer i'll need to mount the cougar wheels i got. the problem i'm having is that even though the bolt pattern is correct, the hole for the hub is smaller on the cougar wheels than the hole on cv wheels are. any advice

Im told that even though they look the same, the MN-12 wheels are a different bolt pattern by a small amount..

MN-12 wheels use a 5X4.25 bolt pattern, while panthers use a 5X4.5" :nonono:

I found this out the hard way, because I want to run the same exact style of wheel I have on my merk on my tbird...

What do the wheels look like? Is there another style you could use?

I knew a lot of people who had VW to Chevy adapter plates so they had rim options on thier Bugs. No idea if they make 4.25 to 4.5" adapters but I'm sure with enough looking you'll find something. Any idea about the offset with these things? The adapter will give you some spacing as well but you might have to get a thicker adapter to fix the offset problem. Also, the spacing might take care of the hub clearance issue. Maybe.
