such thing as a slick-top box town car/conti???

i've never ever seen a slicktop on a box TC. was it even an option? i've only seen coth roofs and vinyl. the cloth ones are usually all ratty from age and they usually extend all the way to the a-pillars. just curious

Yea, there were base models without a vinyl or cloth top. Scott has seen some, I never have. Pretty rare I guess.

i seen a 79' MK IV with a slick top, that is what inspired me to take the shitty vinyl of my MKVI, and it looks much better with out it in my opinion...pics to follow soon since i jus started to tear it apart!

there was the same year and model that jus came in to cookstown. im going tuesday to get the interior, i dont plan on ever scaping this car
