    New radio

Its me again. I need a 1995 gm radio wiring schematic. I've searched all over the web and each website had different colored wires (i made sure the schematic was for my car). I need a certified or a confirmed-by-more-than-one schematic. This would be great.

BTW it was the starter that was acting up...

      Why not get an adapter?

i only have the wires. The last guy cut the two adapters.

I got my cd player powered at least without blowing any fuses even though it drained my battery. Now the only thing left is to do the speakers. Anything i should know or be careful of?

Any other 95 gm owners know what colored wire goes to which? I found 3 different schematics for the wiring and so far my luck held up...

UPDATE: I did blow a fuse. It was #8 on the driver side. My stereo doesnt work right. Its a jvc kd-g300. Only the eject and display buttons works. I dont know much about wiring but what happens if i wire the constant and switched 12v to the opposite wires on the cd player harness? Theres only three wires for power on the cd player, those two wires and the ground wire.

            Disregard the last post.

I cant figure out the last of the wires which are for sound. This is what i have left, maybe you guys can figure it out:

            1. Black with yellow stripe
            2.green with white stripe
            3.White with orange stripe
            4.Light blue
            5.Light blue with a purple-ish stripe
            6.tan

The wires for the cd player is the standard among aftermarket wire coding

              Figured out my problems.

I still want to know what happens when i cross the two 12v wires to the wrong 12v wires on my stereo

One 12v should be a constant which keeps the memory on your cd player, and the other should be a key on, which shuts the cd player off if you shut the car off
