i have a 1985 lincoln town car and i need to know everything possible about it like how to get some better horsepower and just general news about it.

I'd direct you to the stickies at the top of the 5.0 tech forum, and to the CFI to SEFI conversion threads in the HVAC forum. The 85 is a CFI motor, which kind of sucks as far as performance potential without a fair bit of work.
