    Idea for refinishing the fake wood trim...(Wagon)

    Since you can't find decent looking trim pieces, and I will not get rid of the woodgrain. I came up with some interesting ideas. One, just do another fake grain paintjob and clear it. Pretty easy to do. But the other kinda sleeper/rod idea that I had was to make little flames instead of the regular straight woodgrain lines. I could do it using a roller that has the pattern cut into it. I think it would be a different thing to do, and kinda cool.

    You should try the cheese cloth trick. I dont know if it works like I heard but they say it really looks like wood. I think you lay down a base coat of a wood tone then lay the cloth over it and shift it around and spray your grain colors over it. Its an old trick from the sixties, I will research if you are interested.

      I've seen that method, there are a few ways to do it. I think it'd be badass to have the little flames in it...
