3rd Annual Grill n' Chill Cookout and Car meet

Hey Guys,

It that time again, the 3rd annual Grill n' Chill meet is going to be Sunday July 18th, 2010. The Shelter was successfully Resevered so it should be a great time. It will once again be at Sunset Park in Elkhorn, WI Just north of the Rockford area of the Illinois state line.

I will once again be bringing a big grill, getting Burgers, Hot dogs, etc and willhave a big cook out. There will be lots of food. The park has Basketball courts, Baseball Diamond, Two very large parking lots and a public pool (Hopefully its open this year.) So we can do just about anything we want. Bring out the cars, bring the family along too. It should be a great time.

Getting the ball rolling on the Chicago Convoy up to the meet. Here is the Info.

Alright, so I've heard tell a few people were asking about when/where the Chicago caravan will take place. So, as for where, I figured a big parking lot, right next to the highway so as few people have to back-track as possible. There is a Borders bookstore at 3232 Lake Avenue right off the lake street exit. Google maps claims it to be a 1hr30min drive from here to our final destination, so I figure we'll meet here at 8:30 and leave by 9:00 at the latest.
The meeting location also has a starbucks for those of you who need your coffee fix, and there is a gas station about a block away for anyone who needs a fill-up.

So, in summary...

3232 Lake Avenue between 8:30 and 9:00

Feel free to post/PM with questions, concerns. And also, if you have a radio/walkie-talkie, try to bring it so we can communicate between cars should need be.
